When someone works with a staffing firm for the first time they often have questions about the process. Some of the questions we hear frequently are about the cost (it’s free!) and what to wear to a job interview (professional, please!). More often than not, job applicants want to know how the registration process works.
The initial idea of working with a staffing firm may seem intimidating at first, but the process can be outlined in these four steps.
2) If your skills meet the needs of a current job opening, one of our recruiters will contact you to discuss more details about your background.
3) The next step is to schedule a visit to interview with a recruiter in person at our office. Prior to your appointment, you will receive paperwork by email to complete in advance to bring to the interview. The paperwork includes an application, reference forms and skills sheets that our clients request to see. At this appointment, you will be introduced to the other recruiters in our office, so everyone has the opportunity to get to know you.
4) Once you have completed the other steps of the registration process, a recruiter will contact you if a position matches your background. If you are interested in the position, a recruiter will send your resume to the client and work to arrange an interview. When a client likes what they see from your resume, we will schedule an interview for you with the company.
It is a good idea to also call to check in once a week to keep your name fresh in the minds of our recruiters. The best place to find out about open job opportunities in the Madison, Wisconsin area is on our website. We keep our job board up-to-date with the latest openings and make updates on a regular basis. Job seekers are encouraged to check the site and check in with us each week.
