Our Madison-area client is looking for an experienced Office Administrator for their downtown Madison firm. Their ideal candidate will have reception and/or administrative experience with familiarity with QuickBooks as well. If you are a personable, polished professional with a “can-do” attitude, we want to speak with you!

Job Description:

Reception/Administrative Duties:

  • Greeting and seating clients
  • Answering phones
  • Handling faxes
  • Processing the firm’s mail
  • Ordering supplies
  • Helping attorneys with straightforward tasks to lighten the load for paralegals

Billing/Bookkeeping Duties:

  • Once monthly entering attorney time and running draft bills using QuickBooks program
  • Running credit card payments from clients
  • Processing client payments that come into the firm
  • Paying firm’s bills
  • Assisting with payroll
  • Allocating attorney expenses

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of reception/administrative experience required
  • Experience within a law firm is highly preferred
  • Quickbooks experience required
  • Must be a problem solver, and a solutions-oriented person
  • Positive attitude, team player

Hours are approximately 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM with time off for lunch. Benefits offered, including parking, 401(k), disability insurance, life insurance, etc. Pay commensurate with experience, but in the range of $15 – $18 per hour.
