Description / Qualifications

Our Madison client is expanding and looking for an Assistant to the Director of Planning & Investment Operations.

The primary functions of this role include:

  • Assist Senior Planners with preparation of wealth management blueprints including net worth statements, cash flow plans, estate summaries, insurance reviews, retirement analyses, and tax planning. Compile account trading spreadsheets to align with investment blueprints.
  • Provide client level support to Advisors for clients.
  • Effectively capture, manage and facilitate the completion of planning work with an Advisors direction.
  • Actively participate and contribute to Planning Team projects, both internal and external.

  • The ability to look beyond the obvious and not stop at the first answers.
  • Microsoft Office, data entry and retrieval software proficiency.
  • Maintain knowledge of and apply compliance standards.
  • Engage with team/staff in actions that are consistent with firm philosophy, service standards, and initiatives. Work collegially and productively with clients, peers, and other team members.
  • Commitment to ongoing personal growth of knowledge, skill set and competencies needed to best serve our clients and team.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Series 7 and 63 securities licenses (preferred).
  • Wisconsin Life/Health insurance license as well as the Wisconsin LTC license (preferred).
  • A degree in finance, accounting, economics, business management, personal finance or a related area of study is preferred. Work experience may be considered in lieu of education.
